Extrude along - creating a metal chain

Yeah, there's a lot of power in the techniques demonstrated in that tutorial. I would recommend practicing it step-by-step until you can perform it from memory.

Wow, glad I saw this. I can see many many things that this system would be great for! My love for Beziers has grown more. :) (Now just fix the z-twist problem for good and we'll be all set!)

Yea I know about the fix for it. (Use it all the time :D) I just meant not having it twist in the first place.

Hello all,

I'm needing to create a metal anchor chain. I have tried out using the "extrude along" with curves to create a rope, but i'm not a 100% sure how i would go about this with chain links and making sure that they interlink. Can anyone point to a good tutorial or provde a crash course?
