The tonal gradation and light falloff in the sky feels convincing, as does the general color palette.

Right now, many forms are not well defined in structure. I am having a hard time following the form of the cliff in the lower right hand corner.

I also think painiting in some rim light around the rocks would help show that the primary light source is behind them. Obviously, the rim light would be stronger in areas that are directly facing the light source, and would fall off both in intensity and color (from white, to yellow, then to a reddish tone) in areas that begin to face away. Putting some rocks behind an incandecent desklamp would be a good way to get an observational reference for this effect.

Hope that makes sense and once again I think it's a great start.
