mmmm jellyfish.....

Im not great with cinema, i couldnt even do that, however i do think it would look cooler with a different background...darker, and the jellyfish having a glow or luminescence. Thats just mah opinion.

BTW, great work! im diggin it

like the jellyfish...sometimes don't they have "floaty" stuff in the middle...dunno what veins..n stuff??? maybe i'm way off point on that one....not keen on background though..on the whole keep it up. glad you sorted it.:wavey:

Hey Kotayus, was going to do exactly what you are recommending. I think it would add a level of realism to the still that I don't have now. When I get a chance to update it I will. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, I second the other opinions. Also, I think that it needs more tentacles. I think there are often thicker ones on the outside and multitudes of smaller on the inside? Can't say as I've looked at pics of jellyfish lately... Looks great though. And I like the wooden man. I especially like the books in the background. They look great.

Good work!

About the tentacles: you might want to take a look at the "hair department" plugin. It's free, and it does exactly what is says: it creates hair-like geometry. Perfect for tentacles (and gras, and hair, and...).

I don't recall the URL, but at the root of this C4Dforum, there's a sticky thread that lists all kinds of plugins.

Cheers,

nice pic but those tentacles seem to have a weight problem. miake umm thinner and increase there numbers and than it will be perfect.

I like it. it's very "rave flier" like without the bryce seascape :)
