Hi there! Another personal piece for my portoflio.
I always wanted to model a gargoyle type statue so finally i did. Hope you guys like the vibe! Comments welcome as always.

Modelled with Max, displacements with zbrush and touched up in photoshop.

I love the lighting for the scene its so nice! The models are all good too! Good work!

Great job with your scene! i just have one comment, about the rain, it looks somewhat odd, perhaps not enough reaction with the scene (Splashes and such) there are some, but not enough to make it not look like a photoshop layer. other than that , great stuff

Great work. I love the lighting, and the lightning bolt is cool too.

I also really like the tilt on the camera, it's just right.

Don't know why, but I like it very much. It's probably the lighting, I like the contrast between the cold night and the warm lamp light.

Thanks for all your kind words. I agree with the rain comment, i will definitely keep it in mind for the next time!

I also appreciate the fact that people enjoy the mood, for i feel that although the technical aspect of cgi is an important one, I think that the feel or atmosphere that an image has is equally important, if not more so.

With that said of course i will try to keep advancing on a technical level, but i extremely enjoy it when other people get something out of my work.
