 :D
Someone mention this earlier in this thread.
Miyazaki does NOT create his masterpieces with the Western Audiences in mind.
It reminded me of an interview with Miyazaki. He said that he was sad to see his grand daughter and other children of that age being ignorant about their own country culture. So he makes this film. I don't think what he have in mind is to make million of dollar (or billion of yen) from this movie. He only want to get the newer generation of children in Japan to be interested in their country past culture.
Every movie he make, have a central theme. Like Naussica is about pollution, Laptua is about war and so on (others may like to fill up the list, since I didn't watch all his movies). And he expresses his feeling about those issues through the movies he made.
I always feel that art is about voicing one's thought/opinion through a medium. And Miyazaki is a true artist.
Sorry for my previous thread. Somehow the system post it into the wrong thread. And I am unable to delete it.
lol and i didn't know what you wanted to tell me:D
