igor popovic 04-06-2002, 11:42 PM Can anyone tell me how i can create new vertices when modelling in mesh, i've seen this done on some website, but i don't know how to do it.

Depends how you mean by create vertices.. sorry I'm not being awkward... if you want to split polys you can use the slice plane, knife tool, or Meash Tools (preffered). You can also use divide edge but if you actually want to create a vertex to make your own faces etc then use the create button in vertex sub object though you may want to use auto geid when creating this as the default origin of creation tends to be well away from where you would want it on your model. Be aware as well that you can also clone any vertices you may want to use too.
There is a script over at scriptspot.com for creating vertices on polys but I've never myself got round to using it yet. :)
