View Full Version : still: sss-fake on head

tried to fake sss in post-production. This image is rendered in LW using four area lights. Any comments on succeeding or not succeeding( and why)with the sss would be very helpfull...

I think it looks fairly good, but the part between the lips and right beneath the nose looks alittle to bright and could need some tweaking

subsurface scattering. when light enters skin gets reflected under the skin and lights areas not in direct light.
