Title: Sherlock Holmes
Name: Rado Javor
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Photoshop

Some personal work after long time.
Im a big fan of A.C Doyle novels so have painted something from his books about Sherlock Holmes. This is my vision of the great detective listening to young lady in need. She had some dark and complicated story for his analytic mind. He had his eyes closed as thinking about the story. I've tried to paint somehow intimate victorian atmosphere.

The picture was quiet hard for me because i've never painted so big characters, so maybe there are some not correct anatomy deails. Thaks to chris, kevin and pawel for help:)

I will welcome any comments. Only reference was used for sherlock face and the lady costume. all done in photoshop+wacom.

I really like the dimmed lighting in this image and the lightrays through the dust. But the figure of the Lady in the foreground looks a little flat to me.

Great picture Rado. I'd like to see more characters from you.

This piece is simply beautiful. I think the characters look a lil off though. They seem really tall and skinny, but everything else is great!
