Hi everyone,
this is a new character Cyril. I created him about a month back. I got the idea from some squirrels out the back garden. Anyway heres the concept drawings I came up with:

This is the 3D model, I've tried to keep him under 1000 polys and came up with this so far :

As always critz and coments are welcome!

Heh, I like this. The concept work is top notch and the model looks excellent even if it is under 1000 polys. It's always nice to challenge yourself with a task like that and it come oout looking good like yours has. Awesome job!

Real nice work spud, keep it going, get him done fast to avoid overthinking his shapes and make every vert work for it's place on the mesh.

Only things to think about is the upper body, if you follow the shapes in ur concept more you should taper the top of the torso more and the rythmn of your lines, make them flow again like the concept, from top to bottom.

Will keep a close eye pooch.

Hi everyone,
thanks for the comments. I only seen your comment there Col, I'll have a look at now! I started texturing Cyil and this is whats done so far! I haven't really touched him much. I'll have more work done in a day or two.
