Hi

I have a texture that I want to bend as I show in the image and I wish I could do it having some more control than liquify or twirl filters give.
I am using CS3...so,I appreciate any help.

Thanks

Did you try Edit / Transform / Warp ?

You can draw a line using the custom shape line tool.

- Draw your line using custom shape line tool
- Add another anchor in the middle of the line using the add anchor tool (under the petool)
- Right click and look for "free scale path"
- Again right click and look for "bend"
- Bend like you want
- Finished

warp is a great new function. as a 3d guy, I've always wished PS had a lattice type tool.

You could also try Spherize. lots of guess work, but it would work out..

You could use the Pen tool, get your desired curve and then duplicate the layer (merge them when done to get that effect too.
