I'm really glad you like that bot and a mood of a picture, at current moment i'm thinkin about his design, maybe i'll completly change it, because final picture will be much bigger with more characters and some kind of storyline in it, and i'm not sure that current design fit my idea quiet well :)

Love the robot painting... great colours and style.

You could add a complimentary colour to make the robot stand out more I suppose but as this is just a concept, not too important (I imagine that if you had blues and greens within the composition, it would add more depth and make the character stand out).

holy moly your sketches are awesome, I love the colors
the first one reminds me at Matt Dixon which is not a bad thing I think, the rusty details on his chest are just sweet
the colors on the second sketch are even better than on the first one, even it lacks some workingtime
keep em coming but you should hurry a bit I think^^

I like both just the same, the first one looks more devotional, while the second is more of a Clerical "fear the lord" kind of thing, if you plan to add many characters then you could use both, I think.....
Anyway, this is the kind of pic that creeps the heck out of me! maybe the deep, soulless eyes.....

finally combine all piecies together and got 4 days to complete picture, hmmm, there will be tough one :) Also put both cleric bots after advices here, and i think that this way it looks kinda better that with only one :P

btw thanx to all the people here for support, i could no answer to ya in time but it meant much for me!

Nice concept, and I really like how you've rendered the colored bots. The metallic sheen, the shadows, and the video-rosary all catch my eye as being especially cool. It's too bad you didn't have more time for this in the last 4 months... what a shame to have to rush the painting part of it and cram it into 2 days, or whetever there is left. Hope you'll continue to work on this beyond the end of the Challenge: It's still a nice piece even if it isn't done for the challenge.
