View Full Version : normal map display difference in maya & max

hi ,

well i am facing a problem ..that is, i have generated normals in maya and but the final output is supposed to be in max (max fliles r to be sent).and the problem is... in max normals r not looking that good as in maya.

was i supposed to bake them in max itself or just the display is bad in max.

and what the bump value should be 30 or 100 as i am not sure how it will look in game engine.
(in 30 depth is lookin too low)

please some one help me out
