Here's a pic of a head I made and textured... Note that this was my first head to make and my first project to render... yes, there's a nose, I just need to take a pic from a different angle. I'd appreciate some suggestions on the model and the texture. I think i should texture the entire head as 1 item next time. Oh well...

The quality of that pic sucks... sorry. I'll post it on my game site and it'll be better.

the head looks like it is burned to death. It looks like burned flesh.
And it has red lipstick.
The eyes look like they're it up like in stargate.

Stargate's a good show... but back on the subject. Thanx for the critique. I've kinda messed around a bit and did a different texture for the mouth. Not much better, but oh well. Actually I was going for fur, but I guess it does look like burnt flesh. I'm thinking about scrapping this project and starting another head... Again, thanx!:applause: :buttrock:

:argh:

I can't wait to see how **** my first organic model goes in blender.. I've made a bull before in milkshape, but I couldn't say if the set up was any good (for animation and cutting down faces)

Yes, that head pic made me laugh :applause:

thankyou :)

I hope I don't sound an ass :)

I thought it would of been a good idea to seperate the model pieces for texturing, rather than slapping 1 texture onto his whole head, would that even work properly?

I would of though Ear, Side Nose, Lips, Teeth etc.. like that, then you can get it nice.. unless of course you choosing which faces to apply to and using UW (is it? UV? :shame: ) to grab parts of the image.. then you can apply certain hidden parts to some general skin colour to patch up...

:buttrock: sorry about me last post, your head rocks

just don't ever feel down about your models, don't give up because say, someone doesn't reply to a thread you made..

things can only get better..

:surprised
