CGTalk - the "bumping" thing

dunno if anyone else has noticed it, but there are more and more people "bumping" threads.

I find this very irritating because its totally useless, and also quite lame.

"hey my thread is of the first page!" bump!

"hey why arent people commenting on my work?" bump!

:shrug: I think this should be "not ok" in the rules.

"Bumping" is generally frowned upon in most online communities. If you see someone deliberately abusing it, report the post to a moderator (there is a link available on each post at the bottom) and we'll either warn the poster or lock the thread depending on the circumstances. Thanks.
