Hey joel!

That's a very nice painting. she looks so translusent! the colors and lighting are all looking awesome! The textures of the BG and her hair/tentacles/tail have a really nice contrast to her or his body... haha it kinda has a manly face but has small breasts... haha so is it a manly woman snake thing or is it a man with soft boobies?

anywayz, So what is the story here?

thanks for the comments! hey King, haha, its a WOMAN :P, i just wanted to give her a strong face, so she would be more intimidating and visually striking. I didnt' want to over-sexify her, as medusa often is so I toned down the chest etc. The nice thing is she doesnt have to look human, or either sex for that matter, maybe she's aesexual (not 100% sure on the snake reproductive system)
