I'm not looking for something for games. Only for cinema 4d, max, realflow, AE... I'm realy bored about hardware reviews and did not like to read them at all that's why I'm asking here. If someone can tell me which is the best choice for best performance. thx

I have a 8800 GTS, but when using any driver above 97.94 the middle mouse freezes c4d up when changing views and I use this very often. But this driver will play any game and it's not a big deal except the fact of it doing that.
On vista it runs good except a few graphical bugs I see here and there.
Great card for sure, but it seems a little to vista ready for XP in some cases.

when srek talked about video games i think he was right! cinema 4d after 10th release has technology like game engines, so you can see shadows for exemple when you're working without rendering!
and he dident talked about render bacause, if you wanna speed up the process, buy another ram or change your cpu

(it is srek's home page :D )

this 8800 GTS now costs (in Bulgaria) like a midrange Quadro (1500 for example).
I've already order a card. it will be XFX 7900 256MB 256Bit. I was looking for 7950 bit they are out of stock now because are old already. thx you all for the replys guys

I would not recommend the 8600...All available drivers work horrible with c4d (crashes and so on...).
I believe that there is a driver for the 8800 edition, that works good with c4d, unfortunately it does only support the 8800.
I've got a 8600 and I have to use c4d in software shaded mode...maybe there are ways to get the 8xxx series run with c4d...I didn't discover them.
Buy a 7900, probably you'll be better off then.
