View Full Version : How to get correct spline modelling?
Anyone? I need all the tips I can get on this.
When I import an Adobe Illustrator file (a path) I can model through this, but how do I extrude this correctly and how do I edit it correctly? All tips will help :D

Hey,
Are you talking about extruding the inside shape? if so just use the extrude modifier, if its a bit more complicated than this explain how the path looks and how you want it to end up looking. In the quad menu Convert it to an editable spline and change all the verts to bezier corners so you can have complete control over it using handles. if you want to preview the shape while your editing the spline just click the show end result button under your modifier list....
