View Full Version : Bugatti Type 55 take 2
I posted this one a few days ago, unfortunately the thread turned out to be more of a WIP thread than a final image, however, now I think I fixed most of the stuff people were asking about, which were among other things; to dark carpaint, no dirt, to much contract etc.
How this is better

I think it looks absolutely fantastic :applause:
I personally would have made it a little grimier and less perfect, but somehow the perfection suits it
Really excellent work! Any chance of prying the info for your lights and lighting setup from you???? ;)

ah yes a very nice mesh with clean geometry.
The tires have particularly good details.
Can you show a view of the car interior?

well the lightning is ok, materials are really nice ( i think the chrome effect of the headlights should be less glossy) but what's amazing there is the mesh, it is soo perfect. I think you should use into a composition. I thought it would be nice in a 30's street or something.

Hi Wurp,
I've got to say that the render looks amazing... is that tweaked some how in photoshop ? or is it an straingh out-of-xsi's mental ray-rendered image ?
Also, could you please give details of your lighting ?
I'm impressed by the beauty of the mesh... so detailed.
You're goooood :) I hope to see more posts from you.... (tutorials perhaps ;) ? )
thanks for the comments everyone
I will show you an interior wireframe soon.
A MacVey: I did add some grime, its VERY subtle though, look closely on the engine hood, you might not notice that its there, but when you toggle it on/off you can see that it makes a difference.

Superb!
For the environment it is in, I don't think it needs any dirt.
But an old racing scene on a dusty road would be classic!
