View Full Version : How do you apply a bump map?

What's the process of applying a bump map in blender? i can't seem to see a related button? and the intensity?

And from there the button is NOR.
Displacement map is DISP, respectively.
Read the wiki =)

So is the normal map effectively the bump? I read the wiki, which goes in depth regarding normal mapping but couldn't see exact instructions about applying a simple bump, i'm a little tired so i might have missed something :)

Ok, i've given it a try, so how do you control the intensity value? and what's with the two function button, does the second click knock it into normal?

you control the intensity by dragging the nor slider in the Map to tab,
About the second Nor click, the yellow one, I'm not sure, it's mentioned around the wiki or these forums sometimes, search it.
