Title: THE BANDROOM
Name: Erasmus Brosdau
Country: Germany
Software: 3ds max, Maxwell Render

Here are a few render shots of my fictional bandroom..
The guitar is the same model which Hide from X-japan used to play. So this Image is a little tribute to him. You can also see him on a few posters hanging on the wall. All his fans will never forget him. Everything modeled in max, rendered in Maxwell.
Hope you like it ( excuse the grain on the first image ).

Hey, Very nice work.. Couple things.. The guitar seems to pop in every render.
Secondly, I like the lighting in the first render, very cool, but the other two seem like they could use some work.

Other then that I really like the models and the scene itself, well composed... Thanks for posting, cool image.

I agree with this. It's a great image. Clearly a lot of time and love has gone into the details...And this is shown in the renders. The lighting of the first image is extremely convincing and could easily be mistaken for a photo (although the excessive grain is distracting). The other 2 images have good lighting still, but not up to the standard of the first image. Even so, they're all great renders.

Good work.

Very nice work :D
Detailing is very impressive, and yeah, I agree the first is the best. The grain actually helps give it a more realistic vibe though. I find that with a lot of Maxwell renders.

4 stars from me

Yes, very good work. My I also suggest adding a little more thickness to the guitar. It seems a little thin in the renders. Really good work on the detail and textures. Just a little tweeking on the light and you've got it down.

Greeaat details! I love the glossiness of the floor too, especially in the 2nd render. Congrats!

Thank you all, I also like the first render the most too, I built the whole scene having this lighting setup already in my head:D

But because maxwell has the function of using multilight, its easy to decide for other lighting as well at the end and I didnt want to hide them from you;)
The whole rendertime for this image was about 18 hours on a intel dualcore 2,4GHz with 2 gigs RAM. Hm, to clean up the first image completely I would have to wait about 20 hours more I guess. This was now only sample level 12...For the people who know about maxwell.

P.s. Hey Ischwara good to see you here in my 3d posts hehe, im glad you like it;)

Thank you all guys, I really apreciate this:)

Hi, very nice work, compliment. Maybe in the first image, i suppose that you used a skylight, there is too much noise, sl12 is little you have to increase to 15 or more SL. Anyway i prefere second image, with multilight. The scene is very cool . Ciao.
