Thought I'd post the line drawing figure sketch I'm trying to refine before beginning the painting. I'm not entirely certain what all I'm going to do as far as costume, but he'll be walking on the seashore, with a storm brewing in the distance. I'll probably also include a rooted tree caught in the tide. But, here's the first rough sketch, trying to lay down the pose and basic proportions.
