View Full Version : Error: "Cannot convert data of type int[] to type int."
callon 03-25-2003, 08:29 AM I have a modified NURBS cylinder in one of my scenes. When I try to apply a shader to this object, I get the error message: Cannot convert data of type int[] to type int. Does anyone know what's going on here and/or what I can do about this issue?
Thanks in advance!

del history...rebuild surfaces. If they don't work, export as OBJ and import it back in.

do you use some kind of expression in your scene?

Thanx whoosh! I'll give your suggestion a shot and see if it does the trick.

I'm actually new to Maya. . .Are expressions something you have to type in the command line? If so, I haven't implemented any. If they are inherently a part of certain geometry or standard procedures, then I guess I'm guilty. :)

Expressions are like little scripts that are constantly evaluated/executed. You enter them into the expression editor. They allow you to do things like set the height of one object equal to that of another.
