i don't really know what we are supposed to answer, esp if you already talked to kirt about this :shrug:

i guess we need a pretty massive number of sound effects for this thing (ranging from jelly-fish coliding with a space ship to dogs barking in a trailer park)

can you create / record this kind of stuff ?

i don't have too great a knowledge concerning sound design, so just tell us a little more about what you can do :thumbsup:

Hey Maglok, sorry if it seemed that we were uninterested in your offer. The no response to your posting wasn't intentional. It's just that we're really in early pre-production right now and don't have an immediate need for sounds. I'm trying to do too many things at once right now and I missed an opportunity to say "Hello and welcome to the team!"

If you've changed your mind for any other reason, then I guess you have to do what you have to do. But if you're at all interested in our project, then I think cutnpaste might like some sample sounds for animation tests.

Well I ain't a specialist in sounds, but I know my way around music and mostly voice editing.

That's not bad. Kind of hard to make out a few words so you might want to concentrate on really enunciating more. Also, I should point out that the aliens in this film will not speak english. But rather, a garbled simplistic form of expression will be used to communicate thier emotions.

If you could provide some test samples of various alien voices that I can pick from, that would give you something to do right now. The hero has the only speaking role.
