View Full Version : Hmm, I feel a little stupid...
Borgleader 07-16-2007, 07:52 PM Yeah, I followed this tutorial entirely
http://www.allanmckay.com/tut/waterdrop_tut.avi
And as much as I've been able to re-do everything that he shows us, I cant get it to render.
Help?

Would help if you had a screen grab of your setup. Altho I would guess you missing a shape or material operator on your flow.

So what kind of information about any used operators in your flow does this screenshot contain?
Nice thread title, btw.

Ok, well I'll look around the web to find where to put it along with the material operator.

On your top Event drop in a Material Op, and drag and drop a material from the material Editor, also you'll need a Shape Op, either Shape instance (you can use any mesh) although to get you started you can use just a simple Shape Op and choose spheres, for exemple.
On your Flow there was nothing that could be rendered, unless you were using Krakatoa, for exemple, which is a point renderer.
Good luck, and I would advise you to start with the PFlow tutorials that come with Max, just to cover the basics.
