Yes, they have upgraded their website and all the content has not been put back on-line yet. If there is something that you are looking for that you can't find at the moment, your best course of action is to contact the softimage webmaster directly about it.

I think one of the biggest mistakes Soft has done in marketing. Is not putting up simple step tutorials that shows how XSI really works. Something like the Softimage production series, but more cut down. XSI works in many ways very diffrent from other 3D software and that is very hard for a newbie that comes from other softwares to grasp. They need someone to show them the whole pitcure. How things conect together.
I think Soft would sell more if they would do this.
Just an idea for Softimage! Take a simple Character and show the modeling process, then move to rigging, animation and so on.....

They used to have this on their site.

Yeah... I agree. I think the Dr. Bunsen (or whatever the character is called) tutorial does an OK job of this... but it would be cool to see more stuff. I like how luxology releases short video tutes each week about their software and also has someone producing longer videos, but selling them for cheap.
Softimage had the production dvds.... but they aren't available anymore. I wish I could buy them, even though they are for xsi 4.

I have asked "the webmaster" about this, but no reply so far.
Softimage would most definitely benefit from better exposure and accessible and organized tutorial base.

If you go to softimages download section and go to "older versions" then on the new page pick older downloads/versions from the pull down menu. I saw tutorials in that list for 4.x and 5.x I haven't had time to check them out yet though, I'm not a XSI user yet, but I'm really starting to lean that direction
