I am modeling a dirt bike and I am wondering if anyone can instruct me on how to add decal stickers to the bike, I am also wondering how to make a spring! if anyone can help me I really appreciate it!

What program are you using, out of curiosity? Regardless of what you're using, in order to apply "decal stickers" you'll want to add them as part of the texture of the overall dirt bike. As for a spring...if you're using 3DS Max, it contains a spring object with modifiable parameters.

Use UV layout, simply save this in PSD and play with it add textures, colors etc. cut and paste them from photos to your uV texture- curious- got any progress or images to post here? google either Hi Res Motocross pics (using images) or checkout Motocross the movie- that sort of thing, you get some good shots you'll have less work to do. Of course you have to obey the copyrights and such but hey deicated a Motocross 3D recreation won't get ya shot!

yea I am pritty much done with the bike but, its kinda cartoony, I did it on my laptop using the maya learning edition since I have been home from college. But yea I will try and post a picture soon, im sure i wont get shot!! lol, thanks for the tip!

If your using maya and poly count isn't much an issue, there is a primative called helix which would work nicely.
