I have been working on this image during the school hollidays.
I mainly use lightwave 9 also I use ZB for the textring and adding extra detail. Tthe lighting that I used was very simple. One spot mapped at 1300. and lastly I adjusted the image with photoshop.

the models look good.

you should work the environement better. (the lighting, the grass, and most of all, the water.)

modeling is very good.
you need more work on rendering and lighting.

nice idea, but the over all image is not fully sync'd in to the focused object. anyhow may be its just me

the modeling looks great, but the lighting does not have a lot of contrasts.
