Maybe on day we get those Rubens-style women back again and I'm curious about those Bipeds ;).

This is cut n paste from the CS4 user reference.

What's new in CS4

Biped enhancements

The following enhancements have been added to the biped structure and interface:

New Biped Figure—A new updated biped figure is available, or choose Biped Classic.

New biped figure

Forearm Twist—Forearms can now have multiple links defined so that biped can mimic actual arm-twisting motions. We won't have to twist your arm to get you to use this feature.

Better Thumbs—Biped thumbs are now created as opposable thumbs with a more anatomically correct position.

Better Toes—Biped now supports toe data for motion capture. Toes bend provided you have set at least two toe links.

New Biped Creation Methods—Bipeds can be created with a defined height with the new drag position option.

Props—Biped figure structure now includes up to three prop objects. These objects and their animation are stored with the BIP file. Motion capture files that include prop data now automatically target the prop motion to the prop objects. Props can switch hands, with seamless IK blending between the right and left hands. Prop motion can be retargeted to characters of vastly different dimensions without the need for manual editing.

Movable Biped Pivots—You can adjust the pivot for the head so it sits more naturally at the base of the spine now.

UI Improvements—Rollouts have been rearranged to improve workflow. New divider and expansion bars hide tools when not in use.
