Hi!

It's been a long time without posting.
I was so busy involved in some freelance projects. :)
But finally I finished two weeks ago and began to work in modelling.
Till now, I've only done very simple models (standard primitives with booleans, displacement maps and things like that) so I wanted to do "real" poly modelling and texturing. This is the result so far. It took me one week to do the head (and the body, in a primitive stage) and one week to texture, illuminate and make the hair. The hair is shag:hair, and it's a pain to set up. The dynamics are horrible

Please, let me know what you think about it.

Thanks! :D

Very nice.
I love her lips. Personal and very eye-catching mood.

Actually there is not much bad to say. Texturing, modeling and lights are just working how they should. And it's really nice to see cg girl with make-up, really stylish one.

Maybe there's something wrong in her eyes. Too white eyeball...
Shouldn't there be some bloodvains...damn my english..but you understand what i mean. And from this perspective, ears looks not yet finished, right?

Some other angle?

Don't know about others, but i like that little grain too...

Can't get my eyes away of those lips!

great work so far! i think the modeling lacks a bit detail! i like to point on the nose and the ears! They look a bit flat but i think minor tweaking would help out!

Ofr the eyes! I like the lighting most on the lower middle image!

Texture work is fantastic! Maybe one critic on the lips! The look too shiny! Put the reflections down a little bit and maybe get back some bump! These lipgloss is too much although i like it! They look like covered by glossy paint right now.

P..:

one addition! what a superb website you have there! you earning your money with this? looks like!

hi,

I was expecting a little more comments. Near 400 views and only three comments. People were more involved in commenting some months ago. :hmm:
Anyway, thanks to prayas and Larsson, great comments. :D I will make some changes to the model (specially nose and ears) and try to fix the textures of the eyes. Will also make some renders with other lip texture, without reflection.
prayas, thanks for the website comment :)

Regards,

Daniel.

personally I think the eyetexture is actually quite good as it is, but the shape is a bit wrong... eyes are less symetrical, and the tear duct is missing...

other than that, it looks really great... how did you do the texture for the lip gloss? that looks amazing!!

and i'm glad to see, i'm not the only one having problems with shag:hair ;)...

hummmm....:p
Here are my personal comments..:p
I've study the human body at school before, and depent on my experience..:lightbulb first of all..I want to talk about the eyes..the edge of the canthus is a little bit sharp ..and the eyeballs seem extrude a little bit much ...if this is a work depend on true-life.. The eye shape need to be change..the upper lips shouldn't be that kinda thick..and there are something wrong with the earlaps look from the front..Check out the human anatomy..
about the texture..there might be too many tfleck on the girl's face..the lip is ok, there do have lipsticks can do that gloss..
keep it up.. :p

Very nice!

what for software you use to model, texture, etc?

can you post a wirefire?

Wow, I am impressed with the quality of this image. The texturing is amazing. But it seems to me that portions of the face are out of proportion. THe eyes are too big for the eye sockets, if you picture the whole sphere of the eye they would be the size of pool balls. Also I think some more underlying bone structure would help give this face more volume.

Oh by the way, those lips are amazing.

THanks for the replies.
I have made a list with the things to improve, I'm sure the next version is going to be a lot better! :D

phoenix2k> I applied a noise modifier on the mesh to make it non-simmetrical, but perhaps is not working :P (Here is a simmetrical render: http://www.wonderslime.com/temp/041-01.jpg )
The tearduct is there, but I'm afraid is too small.I'm redoing it for the next version.

Aeroplane: You are right with everything but the lip size. I'm sure there are people with larger upper lips ;) Anyway, perhaps I should reduce it for esthetical reasons :D

LowEndFrequency: I will use some photos to check the eye proportions. Thanks :)

Psycholink : It's modelled and rendered with 3D studio max. The textures with photoshop.
