Title: Orasia
Name: Nicholas Marc Bowditch
Country: Italy
Software: Photoshop

This was my entry for EXOTIQUE 3. The whole process through which the image evolved was spontaneous, I had no prep work and no initail thoughts about what to do, just launched myself into the painting and let it happen. I love that sort of stuff, there are always surprises. "She" appears sad and teary-eyed, egyptian (hence the origin if the name from horus), with lizard skin and hair - a hybrid perhaps. Would love some commments!

I think its a nice piece but there is one part you could do better to me. The scale parts look tacked on,they do not seem to be natural. Thats the way I see it. Other then that its a good picture and her 'normal' body looks great.

ok! there seems to be a general consensus. After looking at the drawing for hours, it helps to hear the thoughts of others. Cheers

Agree with the previous comments: the lizard skin seems to be "attached" to her. Anyway, I guess I could never paint a work like this, so keep going! You painted the girl in a awesome way, and the image concept is great. Congrats!

I hope to see more from you.

Cheers

Thanks blessing (nice name). btw, I would change "unskillful" to "skillful" under your name above your avatar ... I saw your portfolio - you've got what it takes! but don't limit yourself with that word, skill is ONLY a matter of time! ;)
