Very nice. I'm glad Evan Almighty is getting some coverage -- I actually enjoyed the film more than Bruce Almighty, and I was disappointed when its coverage was pulled from this month's Cinefex.
Did Rhythm & Hues do the animals?

I don't have a possitive feeling about this sequel... It can't be as good without Jim Carry in it... and then the suddenly massive effects they used, that wasn't needed in the first movie. Seems like they had to compensate the not so funny Carrel with some massive VFX.
Although, as i've not have seen it yet I will give it a fair shot and take a look at it when it comes in the theaters overhere.
I don't even know why they used that "almighty" tag. Bruce was playing God in the first film while Evan seems to be playing Noah.

I always felt that the leading edge of CG breaking waves always looked powdery. I would assume that area is fairly dynamic with water breaking into thin sheets having various sizes of water droplettes from large globules to aeresol mist all refracting light.
I wonder if a unified physics solution would improve the look, possibly what Jos Stam is working on.

Good to see some coverage as well.
Too bad the movie is not doing well on the box office side. I actually enjoyed working on this movie more than most of the projects that I worked for. We did the whole fish tank sequence here at CafeFX and it was quite enjoyable.

Haha! Yeah, I thought that whole fish tank thing was awesome! Is that the only thing CafeFX did on the film? I'm trying to remember who else besides the folks at ILM, R&H, and Cafe worked on it.
As a WWII buff, I had my idea for a third [place name here] Almighty movie. Unfortunately, it's probably too inappropriate for mixed company, but I think it would make a great Photoshop project for SomethingAwful.com.

I personally think, that the movie was a dissapointment, but the final sequece was extraordinary. Propably some of the best water effects work I have seen. Great work from ILM.
