VRMesh v4.0 is continuous to introduce new functionalities that are aimed to increase the performance of the complete reverse modeling workflow, rapid prototyping, and rapid mesh modeling.
New key features include:
A set of tool directly for point clouds
Smooth, decimate, clip, cut, merge, and mark point clouds.
A set of new tool for mesh editing
New mesh editing commands, e.g., glue two objects, stitch object into watertight and remove stuffed regions, can quickly and automatically glue objects into watertight, which are helpful for rapid prototyping applications.
New mark commands, e.g., mark contour region, mark visible region, fit marked region to primitive and fit marked region to target, add more flexible abilities to edit a local region on the surface.
New Clay Commands
Stamp texture, scratch brush, tail brush, and deform by widgets.
Key features are enhanced, such as, global registration, point cloud to mesh, remesh smoothing, soft brush, flat brush, etc. The global registration command is speeded up; the point cloud to mesh command increases meshing quality; the remesh smoothing command has an ability to preserve important surface features like sharp edges and corners while removing the noises; the brush commands in clay tool are speeded up to respond the interaction real-timely.
