hay everyone,just wondering what steps you'd take to create this effect in max(http://www.kiwaii.com/2007/investor01.htm)(the flash animation of water filling an invisible bottle)
im guessing particle flow,but how would you make the particles form the shape of the bottle?any help would be appreciated,thanks nick

ps,if you know of any tutorials that are like this animation could you post a link thanks :)

You would use a liquid sim, such as RealFlow or Glu3d. Check out they websites, theres plenty of stuff done in the same fashion.
there would be ways of faking it using a mix of PFlow with BlobMesh for exemple, but defenitly woulndt look as realistic as using RealFlow for exemple.

The Glue plugin and the toolboxes would do it fairly easily. Where's the toolbox guy? He usually jumps on this kind of stuff and shows you how fairly quiclky.:shrug:

Ps. They really need to deliver that animation better it loaded very slow.
