Ok, I've really tried and tried again, with rigging and its really frustrating, coz I build the model, get stuck at rigging and the model goes to scrap....So please bare with my simple questions and any feedback would be appreciated...I guess for starters my problem area is the clavicle...Where exactly does it go...at the moment I'm thinking that its like a join to connect the arm and shoulder? I always trying and move it into a position like below

But it seem to cause major problems..or is it my model maybe? Here is the current model i am trying to rig, now im not after perfection...but I can't ever get a remotely nice deformation... Any help appreciated

Thanks

you should move it right up to the neck and to the top of the arm. try studying the movment of your shoulder in the mirror.

You need to think of the clavicle as your shoulder bone.
The placement of the right clavical (left side) in your first pic is correct.

That should eliminate the unexpected deformation.

Hope that helps,
