I happen to do that alot


First you will need the VOB plugin installed on your machine - go to your install cd or files - and look under the export plugins folders - pick the version of Max and Bit and copy those files to your Max plugin folder.

When you start max, you will have a new option under the export file formats - VOB

load your scene and make sure nothing is selected - delete any unused objects and hidden objects

then export to VOB - that will export your model to Vue VOB and you can load that object as any other object in Vue.

Make sure though that you place the textures of the object/scene in the same folder where you save the VOB

Didn't know you could export in vob from Max.
Hope this will be possible soon with Cinema4D.
