When I install Maya Unlimited in two machines I can use the net render satellite feature or do I have to buy/install some extra application to use other machines as master/slave?

you only need to install maya satellite on the 2nd machine...

Yes, you need the mental ray sattelite that comes with the extras CDs, or you can download the update from Autodesk. Also when using sattelite make sure the firewall its not blcking the ports, usually 7106.

I realize what I was doing wrong: I must use the IP number, instead machine name.
