Did anybody see that? I just saw a clip of it, but I didn't see the award acceptance. Alias|Wavefront wins an Oscar for the development of MAYA. woohoo!:buttrock:

That's because it's really sortof old news. The Sci-Tech winners are announced a few months before and trhe awards are presented in a special dinner before the Oscars. The dinner was MArch 1st. They only show a few highlights at the Oscars show. You can read the whole shebang about Maya and its award at the Alias Wavefront website:
