Sorry - I didnīt have time to make better render-quality. more stuff tomorrow.
You can compare these to Tread "360wip" so thereīs guite big leap...:airguitar

also i think you need to fix the paint job on the mirrors it looks like it is celshaded it that area, but i might just need more lights. Nice model and great detail though.

I think the thing that would really sell this, authentic wheels, at least ferrari wheels. Other than that, cool.

Thx for comments. My next tread will be exhaust pipes and after that iīll start texturing tires and add some details to body with textures. And about that goofy looking grey thing under mirrors will be removed asap.
ps.Iīll add more light next time :)

Some progress!

http://www.dlvisions.net/~jake/pics/Fr_AreaLight_HDRI.jpg
Itīs HDR image that I used for skybox in a lower picture but am I right if itīs only making any good to use it with radiosity..Should it be like source of the light? Anyone having really important advices for me? (well...any case iīll read more about that issue tomorrow)
Itīs btw. Area light - not radiosity. (if you didnīt notice)
And now thereīs more light :)

Shit..I have to do better skybox anyway cause there must be more light near by the ground level...Glass upon lights doesnīt appear at all.

These couple pictures I made for testing the ground surface and reflections. Iīll post whole car in a second but Please make some comments about that surface. I didīt use any plug-ins and that fading reflection and bump is done by using camera angle based gradient map.
Actually I posted these because I really canīt understand whatīs the problem in the last picture. It is done by using cubic HDR image as a sky witch is making radiosity lights. the problem is that it gets somehow weird cause i canīt get reflection fade like it should and also texture turns absolutely dark?? I just donīt get it... (If i use normal ray-tracing light texture is presented like it should but radiosity and HDRi doesnīt seem to create enough light) on the other hand..if I use normal "image world light probe"-thing there is enough light but why it doesnīt work with self-created cube-sky.
And as you can see itīs otherwise the best so thatīs what I would like to use for car.

hey!
so.. i think you should put the hdri map at the environment guide.
and you can put some color to the sky... or you can put some simple image at the sky(for example a picture of clouds) with spherical mapping and put the hdr map at the reflection guide with spherical mapping. Doing that you will save time in rendering

Thanks a lot..That really might help. Iīll try that in the final version (witch should be next one) Hereīs the full car - picture I promised.
http://www.dlvisions.fi/~jake/pics/Fr_Almostfinal.jpg
So some work must still be done. Next Iīll do final details like windshield wipers and registration plates - also that that one "air-inhale hole" :p or some..thing.. is missing.
Now i need some critique before I start render the final version! So use your keyboards!!
Some things about rendering and textures what I noticed myself is that render is much too clean and also slightly too bright...

I think that the light on the background is too clear... too bright.
and the light on the car ar dark...
no critics about the model..
but the windows.. the textures there.. are strange.. they dont seems to be transparent.
but the rest is ok!
you are on the way!
