Hiya im kawaii hahaha its not a statment its my user lol im new to this forum thing i only just started givin it a go when my friend told me its how i can improve my art work
i am currently studying fine art doin a Btec national diploma in fine art.Since i can remeber i've been so infactuated with japanese culture and animation and my dream is to move to japan and work for a studio in tha area i live in the uk and the only stuido we hav is "sweatdrop" but i want to work where it all started and find out what makes japanese anime and manga so incredible and how i can produce drawings worthy of studios in kyoto and other places

So thats me im female of course hahaha and 18 i havnt draw for so long, my college work has made me kinda loose the passion for it,it just seems like a chore now. But the other day i managed to pick up my pencil and draw

This is me as a neko(cat/kitty) character i wanted the kitty like-ness so i didnt give her obvious cat ears i just shaped her hair to form ear like shapes.
Please help me and guide me to where the weakness's are and how to improve
thank you ^^ i hope its not too laugh-able

Kawaii ^^

Hey Kawaii, welcome to the fourms!!

I'm not so good at crits, but here goes!
I really like your picture, I especailly like the fantastic face and hair. It's all very cute! (goes well with your name I guess =P)
The biggest problem that I spotted was that the legs seem too short and don't have much foreshortening going on. I also couldn't figure out where your light source was coming from since the shadows seem kinda scattered.

I've quickly done a paint over of your picture to show you what I mean. I hope you don't mind! ^^;

I've never done a paint over before so it's far from perfect, but i hope that it gives you some idea where you could improve =)
