Has anyone ever worked on audio CD on body printing?
I’m designing a cd package in for a band. So far the front cover and tray card haven’t been a problem.
The band has chosen a three colour scheme plus the silver from the cd.
The description from the printers for the cd body is to separate the 3 colours into pantone solid uncoated layers. Having never worked with pantone the colours look strange to me.
The black in the pantone picker looks more like grey! Does it print out darker than that?
I’m looking to use a dark red. But the pantone reds all look either pink or orange.
Has anyone had any experience with pantone colours and what they print like?
