This is my latest work. My main focus was lighting and texturing (I suck at both). So I'd like to get a few comments on it.

Cool!
lights better with little volume lights.

Hmm. If the window in the back draws such a clear light figure onto wall and floor, why doesn't the other window, too?
And, where does the blue light on the ceiling come from?
Texturing needs some more work. Especially the bricks are way too uniform...

nice pic but I think a little playing with the diffuse map for the bricks would go a long long way.

and some volume lights that give a smoky/misty feel would rcok

the lighting is a little screwed up... especially where the rays from the door are pointing (if its a door, because its basically touching the floor). The back of the scene needs reworking. I like the texture work tho.

hey, im not sure how old the hallway looks. the bricks look really new and perfect.

i agree with the liting stuff, volume esp.

think about letting the hall go on a little longer

have fun, good luck

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I'd like topoint out a few things though.

The window in the back doesn't draw that clear light on the floor and wall. What you see there is meant to be an open door (a small on though), and the bright spot on th floor is sunlight hiting the floor.

And, where does the blue light on the ceiling come from?

It's meant to be a reflection of the bright ligh hitting the floor a bit further. How should I adjust it to make that more clear?

You have some serious problems then. The sun light is comming from BOTH left and right?

Eather you change the color and qualities (it is way to intensive) of the light from the door, or you put the door on the opposite side of the hall.

You have to imagine this pic taken with a camera with high exposure. It looks normal to me.
