Strange Behavior (Illustration) Entry: Frank Volmer

Hi You all,

This is my first time I enter a contest. Im really excited about the theme. I have 2 ideas:

the first idea what came up to me was 2 human being in a spaceship on an alien planet. They are making crop circles in an alien field. 2 aliens are standing in the distance and look very amazed about the thing they see. they can't believe there eyes.

The second idea is have is about 2 animals having sort of a relationship together. The animals are an extremely weird combination like a tiger and a meerkat or so. they are hugging eachother like human do on a bench in the park.

Tell me what you think about the ideas. Im working on a sketch right now. If it's finished i will post it.

I like the first one! I think it's nicer to use a farmer then "just a human". Like a dutch phrace ("Oog om oog, tand om tand") It makes the scene a bit simpler to see what is happening.

I think it could make the scene a lot more interesting.

This is my first sketch for idea 2. The idea is the tiger and the deer having a relationship together. I want to improve the sketch a bit more to show the relationship of the 2 better.

Critics are welcome.

I'm thinking to add a child to the sketch. It will be a child of the deer and tiger. This will make it very unusual.
