JonasNoell 03-23-2003, 05:20 PM Hello everybody
You will probably know this piece already, it's that I already posted it in the gallery section, but only earned so few comments. So Mangeled Poly gave me the tip to post this toppic here in the 2d Art section to get some comments from real 2d artist about technics and so on...

If you get bored by this, just ignore it, I only want some feedback :bounce:

That's a good looking rat. It'd probably look really nice as part of a logo or t-shirt print. Something rebellious and grungy. But on it's own it's not too complete.
It needs something to anchor it to a purpose. It's just a disconnected and floating rat. Nothing to get too excited about (which is probably why there is a lack of comments).
Technically speaking, I think you did a fine job on the render. The head looks more blurry than the rest of the body and I think the eye would look better with less glow - more definition. But other than that I really can't think of anything to critique.
Add something to it and post it again. I'd like to see what the purpose of the rat is.

I agree with kirt, the rat does need something behind him to bring it all together, great job, those claws are vicious

Hmm ok guys you are right ;)
Main reason for doing the rat was to do it for some kind of logo, like Kirt already said it. I got the job to do an evil looking rat logo that's why I missed the background so far. But I personally will keep on working on it and especially the background. Stay tuned for the finished version then. And thanks for the comments
