If Apple released a version of OSX that supports x86 I would make the switch in a red hot minute! I'm sick of Winblowz, but I'd hate to use the archaic and slow processors that Apple currently uses.

Let's hope it runs a little faster on existing G4 hardware. :)

Apple have just submitted mobo's blueprints for final production, rumoured to house the new IBM (power 4 derived, 64 bit) PPC 970 both single and dual config.
This is rumoured to be the real reason WWDC has been put back. waiting on test machines.
Panther is also rumoured to be 64bit, to support these new processors.

Hmmm, they'll probably rig the X and make it run 100 mph in an african setting while it smashes windows after windows ;)
