WIP The soul collector

Ok I had to drop the blue/purple colors for a moment, its to hard to get a good skin in those colors...ill get back to those when I am satisfied with the character its self.

here is my last work done on it.

Ok here is my last update for today I think.

I wasn't exactly satisfied with her "top"...to be seductive "soul collector" I think a more "open" top would help alot....that being said..

I think this could be a really cool piece but I think some of the anatomy is off...Her bust area seems to be way too high. Try lowering it a bit and her pose seems a bit akward...i think it may be because of her left arm. Its just kinda hanging there ya know what i mean..Maybe give her some hips...thats all i got for now...hopefully this helps you! Keep going I know it will be great! :)

Thank you nerdyninja for you feedback, the part of giving here some more hips gave me some new ideas.

And the part of lowering the bust..ill try that out and see if it looks better ...or not .

The painting itself is going in the right direction but I have an issue with the design really

Obviously this is merely my opinion so you can take it or leave it, Soul Collector conjurs up some dark mystical imagery. Essentially the painting is an attractive women with a glowing orb-type-thing. I'd like to see a more elaborate costume and props. I imagine the soul collector to be the antithesis of the Grim Reaper or something.

As I say I have no crit with the paint as such but I just think you could push the design aspect. There is little value of having a really polished piece of the idea is tepid. If you want to paint a pin up then cool but there are so many interesting possibilities to be explored.

Pickthall, funny you should mention the grimreaper part (the clothing part is because she is in camoflage..dress casual but atractive to most kind of men).....but that is the complete idea...with this pictures comes a small explanation/ backgroundstory:

The Soul Collector (my version)

Soul collectors come all kind of diverend forms and types. This painting is the story of a woman who was very depressed. She never had any lucky in here live, this wasn't the worst thing but she wasn't the most beautifull person to look at. Because of this she was very unhappy, the men she fell in love with, cheated on here, betrayed here...abused here. She became bitter and couldn't live in this world any more. And so she planned to take here own live, and almost succeded until a strange old man appeared and made here an offer so she would become beautifull and strong enough to take here revenge. What she did not know is that this old man was a demon in disguise, and only appears in near death situations (she succed in taking here own live, but didn't know she did).
When she found out he betrayed here as well she got in to a frenzy killed here own creator (the demon) and now roams the world as a living soul collector without a master demon.

This makes her a dangerous to the world of the living as for the demon world as she trusts NO one. She has te ability to look into a persons soul and see if they are pure of hearth, if not; and you are a 'man' you will become one of here minons of here fastly growing army. If you are a women you will be shred apart (this due to the fact she considers all women rivals in here conquest to revenge).

Only a truly pure of hearth, person has the ability to kill here.(with a dagger into here hearth). And here comes the irony...such truly pure of hearth person....are rare to find these days.

( im sorry if my english isn't grammar correct, its just a short background story)


Ok that is the background story for so far. Stil haven't decided what to do with here legs.
Planned: lots of minons, alot of destruction in the background, and maby some more things when they come to mind.
