Hello.
I have a camel brush variant that I use as a blender or brush. I usually start my painting at about 1000 pixel width or height and work my way up doubling the canvas size up 2 to 3 times until I am finished with it.
The problem with using this type of brush is if I resize the image, the individual bristles will become so small when I use it to accent or reestablish certain color transitions and it will not be visible when I have finished the painting. I also use this for hair.
Below is an image that shows you what I'm talking about. It has been resized 3 times after each time one of the stroke was made:

I need to reemphasize this bristle effect on the color/tone transition after a few image resizes and paintovers, but the individual bristles will be too small to be seen if I use it on the bumped up (larger sized) canvas. What I need the brush to do is to retain the individual bristle size no matter how big my image gets.
So my question is, is there an option to resize the size of the individual bristles of the brush type "camel hair" in proportion to ones canvas size? I went to Window->Brush Control->Bristle but the controls are all dimmed down or inactive. I am using Painter IX.5
It would be helpful if any one can tell me how to achieve this. I will appreciate any reply. Thank you.
