This is a set of historical illustrations meant to grab you back in time, into the medieval and mysterious atmosphere of Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful inhabited fortress-cities in Europe. The set is hand drawn and painted afterwards in Adobe Photoshop. “SIGHISOARA A.D 2007” sets to put good use to the historical potential of the city and to create new connections beetween the inhabitants and the visitors, enriching the city with new identity valences which represent the spirit embroided with strong middle age accents. The technique used is very similar to the copper engraving plates created during the 15th and 16th centuries, which represented the great european cities. The project contains plates with civil and military objectives, printed as postcards and middle-size canvas paintings.
