Hello there,

I'm as new to this forum as I am new to Maya. I'm still having trouble finding all of it's functions, and working out how to operate them. Before Maya, I had a little experience with Cinema 4D, which has a function (script?) called Xpresso, which was some kind of node editor that could be used to create slider controls for moveable parts within the model. Is there a Mayan equivalent? Where? What?

not sure what you're asking but if you need to set up easily a slider or controller to drive some action, use the Set Driven Key editor. look it up in the docs.
