sure.
the sure fire way that it will work is to save your LW geo. as a .dxf file, rather than an .obj file. next, just import your .dxf file into maya. make sure your dxfimport plugin is turned on in your plugin prefs.
btw - to make this work properly, you have to make sure your LW geo. is all polygons, and to make sure that all those polys are 4 sided. it MIGHT work if you have all of them 3 sided, but i know it works with 4 sided.
so you can't have any 5 point polys.

aargh I have no dxfimport plugin. its not part of the ple install..
