There s not really a story behind the picture. It's mainly absurd.
I just want a big barbarian soldier smelling a delicate blue flowers in a violent battle field :)

Great idea and really like the compostion and colour. Your concept although maybe absurd at first glance I think has much truth and depth as well. War is absurd and full of paradox. In such hellish places beauty could still be seen I think. Your knight expresses this idea very well. Looking forward to seeing more.

I need to finish that piece.

i worked more on the colours, contrast and lighting. Kind of evening period.

Let me have more work time on it during that week.
I'm not really happy woth the composition.

Nice work! I have to say that I like the composition in your second post better however. I like how many of the arcitectual elements move my eye to the main character. But there is a distracting line that follows the sword on the left through to the main characters arm and through the sword of the guy on the right.

Good coloring and idea, strange behavior indeed :-) But my personal favorite is the post from 06 July. That image has a good composition and he look much more like he's some where else in his mind with the flower, not thinking of the mayhem around him. Rock on!
